SONGWON strengthens regulatory support for its Benzotriazole stabilizers

In recent years, the regulatory aspects of UV-absorbers and specifically benzotriazoles have posed new challenges for SONGWON’s customers dealing with the light stabilization of plastics and coatings. In particular, the upcoming REACH registration has generated many questions and concerns among customers.
As the 2nd largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers and major supplier of UV-absorbers and benzotriazoles, SONGWON has focused its attention on these challenges for some time. In order to help its UV-absorber customers cope with the challenges, as well as understand the upcoming regulatory issues for individual benzotriazoles and the selection of the appropriate technical solutions, the company has decided to further strengthen its regulatory support.
